The SPC-2 Toolkit consists of the SPC-2 Workload Generator, the SPC-2
User's Guide, and post-processing tool to assist in assessing the
measurement results, which also creates the various tables and graphs
required for an SPC-2 Audit. Annual support and maintenance is
included in the price of the SPC Toolkit for the first year. Annual
support and maintenance may be purchased for subsequent years as listed
above and will be available to order when shipments of the SPC-2 Toolkits
begin.
The SPC-2 Toolkit is available for pre-order in two versions: "locked"
and "unlocked".
"Locked" SPC-2 Toolkit: Each SPC-2 Workload Generator parameter, which is required by the SPC-2 specification to have have a specific value or range of values, will be "locked" with the required value or range of values and cannot be changed.
"Unlocked" SPC-2 Toolkit: None of the SPC-2 Workload Generator parameters are restricted to values required by the SPC-2 specification, allowing the SPC-2 workloads to be 'customized' for wider range of application types. There may be some parameter values that are not supported by the SPC-2 Workload Generator and result in the termination of a benchmark measurement, but those situations are considered unsupported use of the tool. 'Customized' uses of the "unlocked" SPC-2 Workload Generator cannot be used in an SPC Audit.

SPC-1 and SPC-2 Toolkits may be purchased by SPC Members at the above
rates.
SPC Full Membership includes a single site license for all released SPC
Toolkits at no charge. SPC Associate Membership includes a single site
license for any one released SPC Toolkit, which is selected by the Associate
Member. SPC Academic Membership does not include a site license for
any SPC Toolkit.
