Membership Types
The SPC defines three types of membership:
- Full Membership
- Full members are eligible to appoint a director to the Board of Directors, are provided full access to all SPC-internal documents, including the members-only section of the SPC web site. Full members may participate in all SPC meetins, vote on SPC motions (including the refinement and adoption of benchmark specifications), and serve on technical and standing committees within the SPC.
- Associate Membership
- Associate members are provided full access to all SPC-internal documents, including the members-only section of the SPC web site. The may only attend SPC meetings or participate in technical subcommittee discussions at the invitation of a Full member. Associate members are not allowed to vote on any SPC motions.
- Academic Membership
- Academic membership is open to all accredited academic institutions and individuals associated with them. Academic members are awarded the same rights as Associate members.
